He has excellent performance bloodlines and is an exceptional mover with impulsion and extension! He has a very curious and sweet temperament and loves to come up for scratches. We look forward to his future as a herd sire at Stonecountry!"
Pleasantstone Mirth (North Forks Black Earl X Mynydd Hir Boneddiges) Sold to Evie Von Reis Bainbridge Island, Washington Evie's comments: "We love Mirth! Once she settled into
being driven from behind Mirth understood reining and then
we proceeded to riding. We've backed
(North Forks Black Earl X North Forks Lady Aemma) WPCSA Registered Foaled 08-26-2004 Aemman is a dream Cob with great temperament and movement to burn! We are proud of this special mare and very happy that she is in such good hands. Thank you Suzanne.. enjoy Emma! Sold to Suzanne Bryson of Stonecountry Farm Suzanne remarks: "Emma" is a lovely mare with a lot of charisma. She is extremely friendly, easy to handle; a nice mover with pony character. Emma is broke to ride and is very quiet. She takes to new things very easily. This mare is a great youth or ladies horse ladies horse. She is good size without being too big! Stonecountry Farm

Pleasantstone Pearl (North Forks Black Earl X Pruitts Blue Jewell) Pleasantstone Pearl is a true dream pony and we are happy to have bred such a gem. Her owner Lorri Elkington is a great horse woman and together they have come a long way in the two years since Pearl left her birth place! We are thrilled for the two of them and love to see each and every new thing they are up to...What is next?? Thank you Lorri for the amazing home for a special pony, Pearl. Her name truly fits! The pictures do speak more than I can anyday! We are thankful for the opportunity to share what they have been up to! Sold to Lorri Elkington; Comments from Lorri; Hi Julie, Pearl is home and I LOVE her!!!! She loaded right up into my trailer after meeting Dena at the fairgrounds! I really like her Julie. Thank you so much. Love Lorri I rode her today... even trotted! I just did it in our back corral. But she was perfect! I'll ride her in the arena tomorrow! I can't tell you how much I am enjoying her Julie!!! Lorri Yup three days! I can't believe how
smart she is! I already am lining up some dressage lessons
for this winter. And I'll probably show her at halter in
the Walla Walla Welsh shows next year. I do have her
entered in our fair over labor day in halter and some
walk/trot classes.... ; ) Love, Lorri Our Walla Walla Fair and Frontier Days was this last week also. We are stalled right next to the "Old MacDonald's Farm" petting zoo. The ponies did great at the fair. They LOVE all the attention. My new riding pony, Pleasantstone Pearl (bought from Julie Mahoney!) , just ate up all the attention at the fair. so she still got lots of attention. Attached are some pictures of Pearl and all of her loves. Pearl was also totally curious about the next door Alpacas..... so I took her to visit them. In halter class Pleasantstone Pearl was Reserve. In English Cimarron won 1st and Pearl and I won 2nd. In Western Pearl and I got 4th and Cimarron got 6th... it was a bigger class of course. I have to tell you these classes were Pearl's 13th and 14th rides under saddle! She is just amazing!! Lorri Elkington Pearl is my precious! I showed her quite a bit this last year. We did English pleasure mostly because she is not ready to have a shanked bit yet. But by this next spring summer I think she will be ready and I'll do some western classes with her too. She is very good in trail class. I rode her on our women's over night mountain trip. She was a trooper and the hit of the camp. She also did her first parade. LOL: My old paint cowhorse is crippled up now so Pearl is learning to do my cattle work too. She is becoming quite the cow pony. Even when the cows are bigger than she is!! We missed you at Albany this last year. I thought sure you would be there. The first class Pearl and I rode in she was a bit nervous ... but by the third day and the third class she was taking it all in stride. I was very pleased. I think we even got one 2nd place. I took a couple of dressage lessons
last winter with her and plan and doing a couple more this
year. Attached are some pictures. The first one was just a
photo stage set up by one of the women's camps... for all of
us to use to take a pic of our horses. The next one is
Pearl hobbled and eating some grass at a lunch break. The
the third one is a friend feeding Pearl applesauce from a
spoon! She loved it! Click on thumbnails below to see full size photos of Pearl!
"Halal" is a very stunning mare, she is
beautiful and kind. This mare has cob type, elegance and
temperament, exactly what we like in our breeding program.
"Bella" is a true athelete, with correct movement, true
propulsion and natural reach. She has extreme pony type,
good flat bone and sweet temperament. She is being shown in
First Level Dressage and both Western Pleasure and English
Pleasure. She is a champion under saddle and we are excited
about her future! Here are more pictures from the same show
this past summer. Stonecountry

Pleasantstone Beryl (North Forks Black Earl X Pruitt's Blue Jewell)
Congratulations to Andrea Barnes on
the purchase of Pleasantstone Beryl. This C Cob is a
doll and no doubt will go as far as you wish! Beryl gets her time for hugs and scratches and will sit with her head in my arms as long as I’m willing to stand there stroking her head. Thank you so much for letting me have her! She is such a kind soul and I’m
in love with her! She’s just a sweetheart and is the
favorite at the barn. Beryl is now being enjoyed by a 12 year old girl. They just love her and are taking great care and putting miles on her. They’ve been playing on the electric cow and are talking about taking her to some jumping shows for fun!"
Pleasantstone Blythe (North Forks Black Earl X Mynydd Hir Boneddiges) Thank you Karen for your purchase of our beloved Blythe. As her name means "blessed" we knew all along that she is meant to do just that! It is great to see her respond so quickly to her training and now out and on the trails...so many happy trails to you both! Sold to Karen McHenry; Comments by Karen; "Blythe arrived here, safe and
sound. She settled right in. She had a good, long
drink and a mouthful of hay, nibbled at the grass in
her paddock, and eyed the 20 year old Quarter Horse
next pen over. I gave her some treats and a
brushing, some fly spray and then left her to get
acclimated. She was very relaxed! What a sweetheart!
Pam and Craig love her. And I do, too! She was even
friendly toward my husband (he's hooked). Regards, Karen
