CS Braveheart Birthdate: 3-17-97 Braveheart knows that he is a prince and he is kind and gentle to his subjects. As Brave approaches he reaches his exceptionally refined head and with delicate silken muzzle and searching lips he carefully extends expecting a caress then carrot or handful of grass. You are awed by his outer and inner beauty that transcends human understanding in a way that shows the immanence of the divine in all creation. Few who behold Braveheart do not take notice and admire his undeniable beauty and stature. It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words but with Braveheart a picture cannot capture his unequivocally unique persona and combined brilliance. The definition of brilliance being; ‘a diamond of the finest cut.’ An elegant individual Braveheart truly personifies the word type. He is one of the most impressive tobiano colored stallions that one will ever see; You notice his beautiful expressive head held high, his soft large intelligent eye, expansive nostrils and fine muzzle playfully beckoning you to join in with his mirth. Clean legs, dense as ivory and straight with perfectly shaped hooves. Well bodied and upright, yet all over extremely refined. Black and white markings are contrastingly bold and unique, his coat soft with a silken appearance. His conformation is well pleasing with graceful carriage and obvious athletic ability. As if stepping on air he saunters around his strong hocks driving the lithe smoothly muscled body. Brave carries his tail high like a black and white flag. If he were in an exotic surrounding he might be mistaken as an apparition only minus the wings to complete his being. Braveheart has two very beautiful daughters; CS Sacagawea and CS Pocahontas. Both of them are pinto colored out of purebred registered Arabian mares. They are fancy young mares, embellished with color as well as correct and friendly. Thus Brave is a proven producer and we have trained him to be collected for shipped semen. He is very good to handle ( a sweetheart!) and behaves like a respectable gentleman in the breeding shed be it live cover or collected by the handler. CS Braveheart has an impeccable pedigree and it shines through. Mantha’s Ms Panda, Braveheart’s dam, is our most prized broodmare, without a doubt our favorite mare. We lost her in a freak accident (see memorial page). Her offspring include CS Umpqua Madron ( owned by Jeff & Patty Lovingfloss, Washington state), Cornerstone Diamond, CS Charisma Colors- for sale, Cornerstone Rockette, and CS Black and White Twearl all currently at Pleasantstone Welsh Cob Farm. Manatha’s Ms Panda pictured with Cornerstone Diamond.15/16th Arabian (by HD Fury’s Eclipse) CS Braveheart’s sire, Madron’s (now deceased) full sister, Life’s Magic, (both bred by Julie Mahoney) produced the top Arabian stallion, Enchanter Magic (*Padron X Life’s Magic), a Supreme sire of many contemporary Champion Arabians today, has the impressive show record of; 1995 Scottsdale Champion stallion, 1994 Canadian National Champion Stallion, and 1995 Reserve Champion USA stallion. Madron, by National Champion, *Padron, was an outstanding individual was shown as a two year old by Michael Neal did very well in halter and loved to ride the trail in Carmel Valley California where he was raised with David and Julie. Madron pictured below. Braveheart is for sale, private treaty, to the right home where he will excel as a top sport pony sire as well as working pleasure and show mount. He has already earned his Pinto horse Register of merit in halter as a two year old where the judges gave him several firsts and Championships in the few shows he showed at on the west coast amongst very good competition. No doubt he would win in performance classes should one endeavor to complete his training and take him that route. He is extremely athletic and passes on his action and good looks. When I showed Braveheart in halter as a two year old he turned lots of heads with his charismatic appearance and gentle yet firey spirit. I can always imagine him in the lime-lite as a beautiful circus or trick pony. He stands at 14.3 and can be shown as a horse or pony (with or without shoes!) His extended pedigree can be seen at this link : http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/cs+braveheart If you want to add color quality and type Braveheart would cross well with sport ponies, Arabians. And especially well with welsh and crosses. His Pinto 30/32 Arabian daughters are show quality, sweethearts and very stylish, like their sire. He is so athletic and he passes this on. I know without a doubt that he would impress the ASPR with his type style grace movement and overall beauty. As his breeder who believes in his potential I would jut like to see him out and winning and being used to produce top hunter ponies like I know he could. We would consider leasing him to a good breeding operation. Will listen to any serious offers or non-livestock trades.
